Montessori Schools are not inherently a franchise. The Montessori method of education was developed by Dr. Maria Montessori in the early 20th century in Italy. Montessori schools operate independently as individual schools or part of a small network or associations.
The method emphasizes self directed learning in a prepared environment (classroom) to foster a child’s natural curiosity and love for learning. Therefore a school that follows the principles and practices of the Montessori method of education can call themselves a Montessori school.
Montessori educators create an individual plan for each child based on their interest and abilities.
We follow the California state regulations. Preschool classrooms are 1 adult : 12 children and Toddler classrooms are 1 Adult: 6 children.
We offer a variety of part time and full time programs to suit the childcare needs of each family.
We do accept state and county subsidized child care assistance programs i:e, PUSD, options, Crystal stairs, CalWorks etc. We also accept Military assistance programs i:e Childcare Aware of America
We provide FREE hot lunch and AM and PM snacks.
The transition is usually very smooth. Research indicates that Montessori graduates typically score well on standardized tests, and consistently show enhanced ability for following directions, independent thinking, and adapting to new situations.
